November 9th: Kate's big sister Jennifer was in town to play a fantastic concert of folk, blues, jazz, and all points in between at St. Brigid's Centre for the Arts and Humanities with her group Ardyth & Jennifer (including Ardyth Robinson, Jennifer Wyatt, and Pam Mason) and Welsh guitar genius Gareth Pearson.

November 4th: Thomas Heise dropped in from Montreal to read from his collection Horror Vacui.

October 28th, 2007: Movie critic Robert Fontaine read to an appreciative crowd, threatened to sing Neil Diamond into the vintage mike, and was introduced to Weird Al Yankovic's "The Saga Begins." Check out John MacDonald's great picture.

October 12th, 2007: We raised $190 for Oneness-World Communications' literacy programs with schools, women's shelters, parolees, New Canadians and native communities at the Lampman Celebration at Christ Church Cathedral.

September 30, 2007: The Crazy 88's - we celebrated the Zytvelds' 39th birthdays and 10th anniversary in fine style, with poetry, song, cake, and glowsticks.
